1. girls on my USA tour last year found that it took about 1/2 hour for their straigher to get hot enough, also a tip i picked up from my room mate – take a power board(4 point works well) as that way you only need one adapter (for the rare stop whre there is only 1 ot 2 power points) and cxan charge everything – phone mp3 camera laptop etc
