Travel Plans: Euro Discovery Oct 14-27, 2008 Philippines 2009 South Beach Labor Day 2009 New York December 2009

Im going on a tour October (euro discovery). Im a bit confused on what the weather will be like, should i pack summer and fall-like clothes since the south will be warmer and north colder? How cold is cold? Do i need to bring thick jackets? or light ones will do? how about leather boots?
