1. The Sainte Chapelle is within the law courts of Paris so you will have to go through security to enter. Once inside, you need to go into the church and upstairs – that is where the windows are. One of the most beautiful sights in Paris. You can bu a combined ticket with the Conciergerie – the prison where Marie Antoinette spent her last night alive…

2. This is one of the best excursions offered by Contiki in Europe. The views are amazing and the well earned lunch is delicious. Definitely do this, even if you dont do any other excursion!

3. This cruise has a great buffet lunch, commentary and a couple of included drinks. It is great to sit on the roofdeck of the boat and have a few beers as the sights pass you by.

4. Be very careful when using your cell / mobile phone on international roaming – the call rates are shockingly exspensive. Only use in dire circumstances!!!

5. Dresden is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Lots of people are really surprised when the visit it because not many outside of Germany have heard of it. Make sure you go and visit the Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady) – it looks really old but was only reopened in 2006 after years of restoration. Completely destroyed during the war, but now an amazing buidling open for visitors.

6. The cheese and clog farm is quite interesting and there are some really cheap prices on wooden clogs. Sounds strange, but they make a great souvenir.

7. The staff in the Basement are super friendly and will go out of your way to help you.

8. If you want something speedy from Heathrow, take the Heathrow Express to Paddington. It is more expensive, but gets you to Paddington station in 15-20 minutes. The cost is 15 pounds. A cab from there to the hotel is about 10 pounds.

10. Another good fragrance for guys is ‘Suivez-Moi’ – which means in English, ‘follow me’. Then leave the rest to you rimagination! Girls try the ‘Bele de Nuit’ – ‘beauty of the night’.
