  1. I have lived in both US & UK and i can tell you that your dryers, curlers, etc from either country will short out in the other one :( (except laptops which have built in transformers). I’ve found that larger chain stores (like Boots, Tesco or ASDA in the UK or Longs, Targets or Rite Aid in the US will be the places to pay the best price.This is usually a cheaper way to go while your there. You should pay around 15 pounds or 20 dollars. Bring them back with you and loan them out to your family and friends when they travel…thats what I do. BTW…I LOVE the power strip idea, but will only work when the voltage is the same, but the plug is dif.
