More About Me

I live to Snowboard and have been in the sport for around 12 years now, It is my true love and passion. Sadly last season kinda called an end to my Snowboarding career when I took a fall off a cliff line in the backcountry of Mt Baker in Washington state. After undergoing surgery on my knee to repair both my ACL and PCL I was sentenced to bed rest, I say sentenced because it felt like I was in jail. While spending my time on my couch doing nothing but wait for my knee to heal, I decided id finally pull the trigger and hit the road the moment I was able to be fully mobile again, and started my quest for where id go, and who with! And that brings me to here, I found out about Contiki a long time ago, but simply forgot about them, after refinding(its a word in my book lol) Contiki I booked myself on a Panorama tour in summer of 08, 5 weeks after surgery and with 2 weeks to plan I called right away and got myself on the tour! Since then I've been very active here on the site and in the forums trying my best to help other travelers! future plans for myself include heading to Russia on a Russia Scandi trip given by Contiki as well as the Eastern Roads tour all in summer 2009, I will also be traveling solo to some places I fell in love with on my visit in 2008 to revisit old memories, and hopefully make some new ones!
