More About Me

I'm 22 at the moment from Brisbane, Australia. I am first year out of university from an environmental planning degree (it's basically town planning with a greater focus on environmental issues such as sustainability and climate change). The last time i had a holiday was about two years ago which was a contiki holiday up to Cairns. The best part was the three day sailing around the Whitsundays including sunset nachos on Whitehaven Beach. It was amazing. Whitewater rafting and diving on the Great Barrier Reef were also great experiences. I did the tour a copule of months after a couple cyclones hit (Cyclone Larry for one), so there was heaps of water which made for really good rapids. We only capsised once when our guide screwed up a move and tiped the raft. The Great Barrier Reef was a good experience. I was glad to see it early before it becomes degraded as a result of climate change, however the reefs we saw in the Whitsundays were a lot more colourfull then the ones visited at the Great Barrier Reef. My next plan is to do a contiki trip through Europe, most likely the Ultimate European and Egypt option. Late March is looking to be the preffered date that way i can go to the ANZAC day dawn service. I't should be an amazing experience, and one i'm looking forward greatly. My greatest interest is taekwondo. It's something i've been doing for the past 11 years of my life (with injury time), and is something i will continue to do into the foreseeable future. It would interesting to visit South Korea to experience that culture, but for now Europe is higher up on my list.
