More About Me

Hi, My name is Alicia. I am 24 years old and currently planing my European Vista (winter) trip for January 10 2009. I live in Australia. Travelling to Europe has always been one of my dreams..to drink coffe in Paris with a view of the Eiffel Tower, to ride in a gondalla along Venice and to see the castles of Rhine Valley. So I have recently finished my teaching degree, I have been teaching at a special needs school for over a year. I am live at home with my family. I have been trying to plan my trip of a lifetime for awhile now, I thought that after uni I would travel for a year or so however I landed a good job and have really enjoyed it. I feel that I am at a point where I need to get out and see the world, my friends are not at a point in their life to travel whether they are settled down with kids or cant afford it or are allready travelling at the momonet.So I am setting out on my own to do contiki. It is great that contiki is for young people and you get to travel around with the same group. I have been busy planning my little sisters wedding which is in 6 weeks and feel that this trip is really what I need.I want to make the most of being unattached and young while I can and what a great way to spend my school/teaching holdidays. I am still weighing up what I should do.. so I have some questions for anyonw reading this:) 1. Is there anyone out there who has done the European Vista trip (winter) and can recommend it or give me any tips? 2. Is there anyone who is planning on going to the JAN 10 European Vista contiki?
