What to Pack

Whether you’re a seasoned veteran, or taking your first big trip overseas, deciding on what to pack is an important decision.
Suggested packing lists for tours to:
- Australia – Swimmers? Sunscreen? Jeans or Shorts?

- Europe – Summer – All that you need to survive, look good, and be comfortable on beaches of the French Riviera, to the fashion capitals of Rome, Paris and London.
- Europe – Winter – Jackets? Scarves? Sweaters? What you need to pack and what you should leave at home.
What to Pack
- Carry on Luggage – What to pack for your flight.
- Day Bag – What’s a day bag and why do you need one?
- Dress Code for Europe – What to wear to fit in Euro-style.
- Shoes – what shoes to pack when you want to look good but also be practical.
- Power Adapters – adapters? converters? What’s the difference between them and what do you need for your tour?
- Suitcase or Backpack? – Figuring out what to bring is easy compared to what to put it all in.
- Weight and Size Limits – Airlines aren’t the only ones with weight and size restrictions…

Take some nice shirts for dinners out and just to make you feel more the part for nights out, but jeans and t-shirts will suffice for bars and clubs – no club is going to deny you entry for wearing jeans.

I’m a bit confused, in my Contiki vouchers pack it syas jeans are not acceptable for European Nite glubs but here it says:
“Most of the time jeans and a t-shirt is more than enough with some bars and venues even allowing entry with shorts and flip flops.”
So which is it, are jeans acceptable or not?

On my first Contiki tour I was nervous about taking my digital camera, so I took a few of those cheap disposable cameras instead. Huge mistake. Take your digital camera with you everywhere. If you don’t have one, buy one before you go. Or do what I did … make friends with the person on your tour who has the nicest camera. They will carry their camera everywhere and take a bunch of pics with you in them. (Thanks Lisa!)

The Tirol is one of the most beautiful parts of the world. If you visit Hopfgarten, visit the trout farm - you can catch a fish, then have it for lunch!
I'm a Bondi local...it is always packed with people...if you're looking for a more chilled beach hang out, check out Tamarama, Coogee or Bronte beach, all 5-10mins from Bondi.
